Chargeback Policy – Healing Touch By Tasha
If you receive a discount and complete a service, and later dispute the charge through your bank or payment processor, you will be charged the full price of the service.
If you knowingly:
• Booked the service yourself
• Were present and received the service
• Used your card for the deposit or checkout
• And the card was stored with your consent or through the platform used (e.g. Vagaro)
…then falsely disputing the charge may be considered fraudulent activity.
Disputing a legitimate charge to avoid paying is chargeback fraud.
🚨 What Happens If You Dispute a Valid Charge:
• You may be banned from booking future services.
• You may be charged the full, non-discounted rate.
• You may face legal action, including a small claims court filing.
• Your information may be submitted to the payment processor for abuse of the system.
This includes claims such as:
• “The card wasn’t present” (when you completed checkout digitally or signed in person)
• “I didn’t authorize the charge” (when you booked, signed documents, or used your account)
• Using fake names or misleading information during the booking process
We document all client interactions, including:
• Booking logs
• Check-in/check-out time
• Signed intake and consent forms
• Payment device history
• Surveillance (if applicable)
